Your story is saved as pending and stays off the public site until an admin reviews it; nothing is published automatically. The reviewer checks that the company is real and correctly named, that the content is yours and not copied from elsewhere, and that it has no personal data you did not choose to share. Once approved, the story goes live and you get an in-app notification.

There is no fixed turnaround, because it depends on when an admin can work through the queue. You can check the status of everything you have submitted on your "My Submissions" page, which shows whether it is awaiting review, published, rejected or needs changes. Any note from the reviewer appears next to that submission.

Only if you want it to be. On the privacy step you can tick "Hide my name", and the published page and listing cards then show "Anonymous" instead of your name. Your account is still linked to the submission internally, so admins can see who sent it for moderation. If you leave the box unticked, your account name is shown as the author.

Yes, and we encourage it. You can choose Selected, Not selected, Pending or Withdrawn as the outcome, and all four go through the same review and are published the same way. Rejections are often the most useful stories to read, because they show what a company really asks and where candidates slip.

Do not include anything covered by an NDA, and avoid personal details about other people. Naming a specific interviewer is possible, but you must tick the box that says so, and it gets a closer manual review (our scanner also flags common name patterns in round descriptions). Adding a salary figure also triggers a closer review, so leave it empty if you are unsure about your agreement. Describing an interviewer's role or style is usually just as helpful and much safer.

A reviewer must leave a note explaining what to fix or why it was rejected, and you will see it on "My Submissions". If changes were requested, that submission gets an "Edit & resubmit" button that reopens the form with your answers filled in, so you do not start over. A rejected submission cannot be edited, but you are free to write a new, improved one.

You can edit it only when a reviewer has asked for changes. While it is waiting for review, or once it is published, there is no self-service edit or delete. If you spot a mistake or need a published story removed, for example over an NDA concern, contact an admin, who can take it down or correct it.

Yes. When an admin approves your story, 15 points are added to your platform score and you get a notification. The points are awarded once per story, the first time it is published. Publishing under your name also gives you an optional public byline on the story.
